Dare to Dream: TpT Seller's Challenge

I am so excited to be linking up with 4 wonderfully talented bloggers - Sparkling in Second, Teach Create Motivate, Peppy Zesty Teacherista, and Third in Hollywood for the second week of the TpT Seller's Challenge.

Home projects: We were blessed to buy a new house this past September and it had a lot to offer.. it was in our price range, zoned to the schools we want our children to attend and it has a gorgeous backyard complete with a pool! The inside though, is way outdated and "needs" many upgrades. I would love to earn enough income from TpT to be able to update our home the way I envision!!

Pay off student loans: bluck. Need I say more?? I have been teaching and paying for 11 years now and I am over it!!

Travel: This is pitiful. I have never been out of North America. I dream of traveling to Italy and Greece and even taking smaller trips like New England in the fall or taking my kids back to Disney while they are little enough to still believe in the magic!

Lasik: I have awful eyesight and my contacts get SO dry and painful. I want to be able to wake up and see!!

Master's Degree: Every year I think about going back to get my Master's but I can't justify adding even more student debt and with our 2 teacher household income, paying for it without loans isn't currently an option. sigh.

Last but certainly not least, helping others. It would be such an amazing gift to have money to use to bless others. Whether that be by treating them to lunch or helping them with something bigger, I want to be able to help!

Thanks for stopping by my little piece of the bloggy world. I can't wait to read more about everyone's goals. I am really ready to stop being ADHD distracted and get busy achieving my dreams!!

  1. I just started my Masters and it was pretty terrifying thinking about paying for it. My husband and I agreed not to take out more loans to pay for it so we have to be very conscientious with our money but luckily I am in a program that lets you pay course by course. I am so happy to be getting it done but I do know how you feel trying to justify the cost. It's a big step but hopefully TpT will help make it possible for you! Best wishes.

    1. I think I am just going to need to tighten the budget.... there will never be a "good" time to go back to school. This will be my 12th year in the classroom so I'm ready!!

  2. We have very similar dreams for our TPT businesses. There is something so awful about that loan payment coming out of my bank account each month. Would love to pay that with TPT money! Best of luck to you as you pursue your dreams :)

  3. The masters degree is so tough. I wish I would have started right out of college before kids and other busy things. I have 20 credits towards it, but since I work from home now getting my masters may affect districts highering me in the future. Such a crazy world of teaching. Good luck with your goals. I am hoping to get back to Disney with my kids too.

    1. Yes, I waited because it was too hard to do it with little ones. Mine are school aged now and a lot more independent! Good luck to you.. hope to see you at Disney one day! Ha
